Yuheng Ding

In May 2023, I obtained my Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. I will be joining the World Bank Group's Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice as an Economist in Fall 2023.

My research interests lie at the nexus of innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic human capital management. My current work utilizes matched employee-employer data from the U.S. Census Bureau to investigate the role of technological change in particular the increasing complexity of innovation, in firm innovation strategy, labor mobility, entrepreneurship, and rising income inequality over the past few decades.
